Teaching Reading to English Language Learners: What's Different?
2/11/19, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Southern Westchester BOCES
3/12/19, 9:00 - 3:00 pm, Rockland BOCES
Participants will explore what is different about teaching the key components of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension) to English language learners, how to create opportunities to develop oral language, and strategies for before, during and after reading supports.

LIU Hudson announces a fully online course for the Spring Semester, 2019:TED 650-001: Second Language Acquisition, 3 graduate credits.
