Tech Toolkit for Supporting ELLs ONLINE Course - 2 Sessions!
The world of technology for educators is always changing with new and exciting tools. This asynchronous HV RBE-RN online course will introduce K-12 educators to various websites, tools, and apps which can be used by ENL teachers to enhance instruction. Upon completion of this online course, participants will be exposed to methods of integrating technology to enhance communication and translation, accessibility, interactivity, and engagement.

SUNY New Paltz is forming a new cohort for the clinically rich Intensive Teacher Institute. Students who fulfill the admission requirements and complete the program will be eligible for certification in English as a New Language within one academic year. The cost of this 15-credit program is substantially subsidized by the state. The application deadline is April 15th, so there's still time to apply! Bank Street College of Education's Language Series offers an annual event to help educators understand the critical role that language plays in the social and academic success of all students. Featured is a keynote presentation by Dr. Detra Price-Dennis from Teachers College with two rounds of hands-on workshops. Workshop topics include: The classroom as a learning laboratory, Fostering student agency and voice, The many languages of block building, and more.
