Multiliteracies: Exploring Multimodal Pedagogies for Academic Success

Bank Street College of Education's Language Series offers an annual event to help educators understand the critical role that language plays in the social and academic success of all students. Featured is a keynote presentation by Dr. Detra Price-Dennis from Teachers College with two rounds of hands-on workshops. Workshop topics include: The classroom as a learning laboratory, Fostering student agency and voice, The many languages of block building, and more.
