NYSESLAT—Determining an English Language Learner’s (ELL) English Language Proficiency Level - Memo Now Available
The scale score ranges for the 2025 New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT), along with guidance and information concerning the interpretation of the scale scores, are now available at the following link.
If you have further questions about determining any ELL’s level of English language proficiency, please email the Office of State Assessment or call (518) 474-5902.
