Project PARA TODOS

Project PARA TODOS

THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR BILINGUAL EDUCATION (NABE) is offering the 2022 USDOE National Professional Development Program for teachers of Dual Language Programs. NYSABE as an affiliate of the national organization, is partnering with NABE, to recruit teachers/schools interested in this project.

This program provides the training at no cost to participants, including the cost of the digital badge. The PARA TODOS (K-8) program will allow educators to positively impact 400+ EL/DL families and caregivers. Educators will gain a unique expertise on English learner/Dual language learner education and an opportunity to connect and collaborate with other educators nationwide.

NABE’s micro-credentials are stacked to demonstrate mastery of a variety of skills as a dual language teacher or administrator. NABE’s digital badges provide status within the professional and educational community and encourage motivation for learning. A badge can transparently display an educator’s achievement level through a strategic validation process. Micro [1] credentials align with NABE’s existing strategic plan and dual language educators professional learning goals. The micro-credentials will demonstrate mastery of job [1] embedded skills that align to dual language best practices and are rooted in classroom practice. NABE is the ONLY association at this time that stands behind a recognized credential, providing it with an unparalleled status.

For those schools interested, please become familiar with the information on the flyer. The flyer contains a YOUTUBE video of the project.

For more information, please view flyer and complete the registration form no later than May 25, 2022.
