June 2, 2022, 4:00-5:30 PM and June 11, 2022, 10:30-12:00 PM via Zoom
How do I include my students’ home languages in the classroom if I don’t speak the language? Ensuring that all students are able to engage in the curriculum is not only good practice but is also an integral part of supporting culturally responsive pedagogy. Intended for all teachers of English Language Learners/Multilingual Learners, this two-part workshop will focus on strategies and tools to help educators harness their multilingual learners’ full linguistic repertoire across content areas.
