NYSED released a memorandum which provides the scale score ranges for the 2021 New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT), along with guidance and information concerning the interpretation of the scale scores.

LIU Hudson

Get recommended for certification to teach Grades 1-6 through the NYSED-approved, 17-credit Online Advanced Certificate in Childhood Education Program for ESOL teachers at LIU Hudson.

You’ll receive a 45% tuition reduction when you join LIU Hudson’s 10th cohort, which starts September 2021 with two courses. Continue with two courses in the Spring term and finish in Summer 2022.

Classes will be led by teachers experienced at both the K-12 and university levels who have undergone rigorous training in online instruction. Classes will be online and asynchronous, but will offer participants many opportunities to engage with classmates and instructors.

Please note: Prospective students must be certified ESOL teachers who already hold a Master’s degree.
