Opening Event of CUNY-Initiative on Immigration and Education - Workshop Series

Thursday, February 25, 2021, 5:00 - 6:30 PM

In this workshop, you'll be introduced to the work of CUNY-IIE. Their professional development modules based on the Supporting Immigrants in Schools video series will be launched. They were created to provide activities and guides to help educators learn, act, and advocate with, and for, immigrant students in the classroom. Please see the event flyer here.

Additionally, they will be hosting four other workshops that cover a series of topics at the intersection of immigration and education, such as legal updates, UndocuArt, and organizing at the local and state level.
