This workshop will cover instruction, assessment, and grading practices for high school ELLs. We will explore inquiry-led, Project-Based Learning (PBL) and social, linguistic and cultural considerations for newly arrived ELLs. In addition, the workshop will highlight technology tools and strategies that can be used to support multilingual learners and enhance PBL instruction. Participants will explore translation applications, digital collaboration platforms, and interactive learning resources designed to increase accessibility and engagement for newcomers.
