Join us for the Hudson Valley Learning Exchange Visits, where districts across the region will come together to learn from each other's programs and approaches. Each visit focuses on a specific topic, offering opportunities for both visiting and hosting districts to share ideas, ask questions, and exchange valuable feedback. These visits are designed to foster collaboration and inspire new insights that can enhance programs across the Hudson Valley.

North Rockland CSD will host a collaborative day of shared learning, observation, and reflection designed to highlight district practices and provide valuable feedback from visiting colleagues. We will begin together at the NRCSD Central Office with an overview of our Dual Language program's journey as we enter Year 5, highlighting key initiatives such as NR's Bilingual Village, the Young Scholars Seal of Biliteracy Program, and our district's MTSS framework for English Language Learners. Next, participants will break into smaller groups to visit Dual Language K-3 classrooms across West Haverstraw Elementary, Thiells Elementary, and Stony Point Elementary to observe instructional practices in action and engage directly with educators. Finally, we will reconvene at the NRCSD Central Office for a facilitated debrief to share observations, exchange ideas, and reflect on key takeaways together.
