SULLIVAN COUNTY BOCES CONFERENCE DAY

Dynamic classroom instruction is rich with academic language and engaging for all students. Incorporating vocabulary activities into content-area instruction provides all students with the words necessary to learn and talk about academic subjects, and is especially necessary for ELLs. Engaging classroom activities, structured to include students at varying levels of English proficiency, provide students with access to rigorous curriculum. During this workshop, participants will engage in activities that support vocabulary development and activities that are engaging for all students, including ELLs.

(Note: Part 1 is not a prerequisite for Part 2)
