Rethinking Family Engagement in the Age of Remote Learning - ONLINE Course

Learning has shifted from schools to homes and the modality of instruction, for most, is transitioning from face-to-face to online. These transitions are happening simultaneously with many families making similar shifts in their professional lives.

Family engagement should encourage and empower families to be their own champions. As a community, we need to work toward goals that focus on specific family strengths, resources, and needs.

As families work through the challenges of making these transitions, educators must use best practices for family engagement in order to provide emotional and technical support, compassion, and encouragement as they partner on facilitating learning in the home.

This workshop will provide actionable steps educators can take to foster and build upon a school-to-home partnership.

The estimated amount of time needed to complete this module is approximately 3 hours. You may stop at any time and resume it at any time.
