NYSED is replacing the 2014 New York State Identification Test for English Language Learners (NYSITELL) with an updated assessment aligned to the current NYSESLAT. Implementation of the 2018 NYSITELL edition will begin in February, 2018. Districts must now contract with their Regional Information Center (RIC) for NYSITELL scoring and data processing. As a result of this ½ day training session, participants will learn about the changes to the NYSITELL, focusing on the changes in the test processing. This session is recommended for ENL teachers and coordinators, classroom teachers, and building and test administrators who want to learn more about the NYSITELL test processing and review administration practices. Those who will be administering the NYSITELL or who will have a role in any part of the test processing should attend a training session.
