This workshop introduces all teachers of ELLs to 6 models of co-teaching, using Marilyn Friend's and Honigsfeld & Dove's frameworks for collaborative instruction. Through an interactive presentation approach, video demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants will gain a practical understanding of the 6 co-teaching modes presented, and their applicability to their work with ELL students. Using the models presented, participants will design a co-taught lesson that they can later implement with their teaching partners in their classrooms.
